Learn the basic formats of rhythm for successful drum circle performance. Participate as a group in developing and playing in an interesting and therapeutic percussion ensemble. This course is a precursor to developing a local drum circle to perform at upcoming regional events. Instruments will be provided for those who don’t have one. Bring any hand percussion instrument you have: Cajon, Djembe, conga, Bongos and other African and handheld percussive instruments.
